1) Scope of Services
Gotta Guy Plumbing & Home Services (“we,” “us”) performs residential and commercial plumbing and related home services. Work is limited to the items listed on your estimate or work order. Any additional work requires your approval and may affect price and schedule.
2) Estimates, Pricing & Payment
- Estimates are based on the conditions we can observe at the time. Hidden conditions may require change orders.
- Prices are in USD and typically due at job completion unless otherwise stated. We accept common payment methods.
- Past-due balances may incur late fees as allowed by law and could pause future service.
3) Scheduling & Access
- We’ll provide a service window and communicate updates. Delays may occur for emergencies or parts availability.
- You agree to provide safe access to the work area, water/power as needed, and to secure pets/valuables.
4) After-Hours & Emergency
After-hours, weekend, and holiday calls may carry additional charges. Maintenance Plan priority applies only during regular hours (Mon–Fri, 8–4).
5) Permits & Code
Where required, we obtain permits and perform work to applicable codes. Permit fees and inspections may be billed separately if not included in the estimate.
6) Materials & Warranties
- We use quality materials from reputable suppliers. Manufacturer warranties apply to covered products.
- Our labor warranty is provided on the invoice or work order (scope-specific). Misuse, neglect, or unrelated system issues are excluded.
7) Exclusions & Existing Conditions
- We are not responsible for pre-existing code violations, corrosion, or failures outside our work area.
- We do not handle hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, mold, lead abatement). Discovery may pause work until remediation.
- Drain cleaning does not guarantee future performance; roots, breaks, or improper slopes can re-clog without repair.
8) Photos & Documentation
We may document jobs with photos (see Privacy Policy). With permission, we may use non-identifying images for before/after examples.
9) Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information, approvals, and timely payment.
- Protect finished surfaces and move personal items when requested.
10) Discounts & Promotions
- Seniors/Military: 10% off labor, up to $75, not combinable with other offers or member labor discount.
- Maintenance Plan: member discount 10% off labor, up to $75; not combinable with Seniors/Military or other promos.
11) Maintenance Plan Summary
Plan benefits are described on the Maintenance Plan page. Benefits apply during regular hours and last one year from purchase. Camera inspection requires an accessible outside cleanout. Parts and equipment are not discounted.
12) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
13) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the services.
14) Force Majeure
We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (weather, supply chain issues, utility outages, etc.).
15) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.
16) Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. The latest version will be posted on this page and becomes effective when posted.
